Quick Update:

I'm heading out in a bit to go share a little of the birthday joy with my favorite baby brother.  The fact that he is my only baby brother...or brother...or actual sibling, for that matter, does not factor into my appreciation of the little feller.  Hopefully, I shall recover from all the merriment in time to make it home and do up a proper post for you.

Meanwhile, feel free to give him a little birthday shout-out yourself, should you be so inclined.  Even Poopy-Head Brothers get a pass from the sibling torture on their birthdays.  It's a rule.

It's 8:57, I'm Home, And There's Even More With The Updates:

Baby Brother Sheep has been birthdayed most heartily and with great, heaping helpings of cake.  And ice cream.  And P'sketti.  Which was really rotini but that's not as much fun to say.  He was gifted by all and seems pleased with his Natal Day Haul.  All in all, it was a very pleasant way to pass an evening.

I also brought a very nice stuffed chicken toy for Sarge, my widdle doggie nephew because he's just a little pup and doesn't understand that every day is not his birthday.  He seemed pleased with it and I do believe it was the "squeaky" feature that put the whole thing over the top.  He romped with his chicken.  He frolicked with his chicken.  He made very, very scary growly noises at his chicken and we were all properly terrified because there is nothing more awe inspiring than a teacup terrier with a squeaky chicken.

He then disemboweled the chicken, removed the squeaker and proceeded to leave a path of chicken entrails/stuffing in his wake.  He seemed rather proud of his efforts.  I could tell by how he kept bringing the limp chicken leavings over for me to inspect.

Like I said:  A very good way to pass an evening.  Not so much with the knitting, though.  But it's looking like a rainy weekend and I'll bet I can knock out a row or two while I'm hiding from the raindrops.

Not as much fun as cake with a side of decimated chicken.  But good in its own way.

Is that the grandfather baby brother? I love birthday cake. I would make any excuse to have some.

I didn't knit tonight either. Cut my finger making dinner. Working on an off-white shawl and snow white socks. No knitting.

Number Guy and I decimated these here internets of the presence of the pixelated zombies instead.

After all, someone has to protect their friendly neighborhood Sheepie from the virtual zombies.

Happy Birthday brother Sheepie! Birthday cake sounds heavenly right now, yum! Tattered chicken, not so much.

Wow, Sarge is quick in the disembowelment department! I'm glad everyone had fun (except for the chicken).
