This little break in the Friday Blog-fast is brought to you courtesy of Beth, who requested a few
more snow pictures. Since I happen to have a little extra snow lying around right now and also happened to remember to grab the camera this morning, I am happy to oblige.
Here we have the front of my building at 6:15 in the god-forsaken morning and a fun glimpse at the start of The Sheep's daily commute:
Anyone else see a zombie behind that bush to the far left of the photo? Just curious...
And here's a few I took of the playground from my classroom window. It was overcast and very chilly. All hail the mighty zoom feature! It allowed me to take pictures from the second floor without having to venture outside. I hate outside. Especially the cold outside.
There you go, Beth! Maine's early December snows! Who knows how long they will last, but I have a feeling that we are in for a very white and chilly winter this year! More of the regular bloggy goodness tomorrow...

Don't you love it when the snow is so deep that the fence rails, the branches and even telephone wires are thick with snow?
Very Pretty! and I kinda thought I saw the early morning zombie, there at the far left bush, had to kind of look a little to the right, catch it out of the corner of my eye, but yeah, that and the tracks in the snow, dumb zombie.
It is pretty. But shivery. Although I did notice today that one of the things I actually LIKE about winter is how snow on the ground makes the inside of the house brighter from the reflection. It's the oddest phenomena.
Ugly, ugly pictures! I HATE SNOW!
Actually, I guess I have to admit that the pictures are pretty, but I still HATE snow.
Lovely snow photos but please could you keep the snow up north. We don't need any more down here.

Those pictures look amazingly familiar (except for the building and the swing sets). They could have been taken here. Winter is pretty, especially if one has a strapping teenager to blow snow. Does your building have wooden siding? It looks very pretty and rustic, exactly as it should in Maine.
Very pretty! I love snow but that's probably only because we don't see it very often here in the PNW and when we do it's a pretty short-lived affair. I might feel differently if we had it all winter.
ps - The shrub to the left on the photo? Because before I read the caption I was sure I saw a zombie lurking near the post by the shrub on the right-hand side of the photo.
Thanks for sharing your snow Sheep, ours has disappeared again!!! I did find some Yukon snow to work with though, stop by and you'll see LOL....

Thanks for those pictures of snow! I love snow and now I live in a place where I likely won't see too much of it, unfortunately. So bring on the pictures (and send some this way, if possible!)
Somehow I missed this blog entry until now! Thanks for taking the pictures. Snow makes everything look so beautiful. Ahh...I feel better now. (It was in the mid to high 70s here today.)
