I don't even remember going through the light stringing on my tree each year since I decided to buy a pre-lighted tree. It comes in 3 pieces that I hook together and then I hook together the lights and it is fluffing time (since I like a fluffy tree). There was a transition year with the "Christmas Ficus" (it is a pretty big ficus tree) but after that I quit.
