California actually produces the most peaches because, as the 5,000 pound gorilla of a state that they are, nobody can keep them from it. South Carolina peaches also taste better than Georgia's. Or California's. Which is why they are the only ones I would ever consider buying from Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18047049720897209506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19341251.post-9818066788497755852008-08-20T20:43:00.000-05:002008-08-20T20:43:00.000-05:00Maine peaches, yeah, makes perfect sense. The Appalachian Trail begins down in Georgia, the Land of Plentiful Peaches, so as you hike in a northerly direction, you bring along with you the essence of good peach growing goodness ending up at the northernmost part of the Trail, up there in Maine.

This also accounts for the great Georgia lobsters: the lobster attracting essence sheep#100https://www.blogger.com/profile/04207640881710412597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19341251.post-70931847492378268362008-08-20T20:38:00.000-05:002008-08-20T20:38:00.000-05:00We currently have no curtains and no curtain rods ...We currently have no curtains and no curtain rods on any of the downstairs windows. Peaches (my kitty, not your farmer's market purchase) used to climb them and sit on the curtain rods. After having to rehang the rods and curtains several times, we just gave up. They pulled the rod out of the wall once and now it's up there with super strong bolts. You'd think they'd get tired of these things as they get older. You'd be wrong. I had a cat who used to sit on top of the bentwood coat rack. I have no idea how she got up there. I wish I had their Donna Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07877384848664758611noreply@blogger.com
